…so we, who are many,
are one body in Christ…

Congregational Care & Fellowship

Congregational Care in nearly all Presbyterian churches is known as Fellowship. Fellowship is a word of action; that being the action of people who actively share common beliefs, activities and interests. Our charge is to minister and care for the members of First Presbyterian Church in a variety of way including:

Church lunch in fellowship hall
  • Prayer Chain - Notification to those listed on the prayer chain when need arises
  • Frozen Blessings - Provide frozen dishes for those in need
  • Funeral Meals - Supply and serve food for family members on day of funeral services
  • College Final Care Packages - Send gift card or box to those in college before final exams
  • Card Ministry - Send birthday and get well cards
  • Special Event Church Meals and Refreshments

There’s a place for you…

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us…
