Clint Schofield

Prior to answering God's call to First Presbyterian Church, Clifton, Texas, in June of 2004, Clint served as medical chaplain at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. He worked with patients, their families and hospital staff in the oncology, orthopedic, pediatric, surgical intensive care, and trauma departments. In June of 2003, Clint graduated from Ausitn Presbyterian Theological Seminary earning a Master of Divinity Degree. Before entering seminary, he served 21 years as an elder at First Presbyterian Church, Temple, Texas. Clint and Jan, his bride of 33 years, met as students at Texas A & M University where both graduated earning Bachelor Degrees in Horticultural Sciences. They moved to Temple in 1979 where Clint was employed at the Olin E. Teague Veteran's Medical Center and Jan taught kindergarten in the Temple and Killeen and Temple School Districts. They have two adult children, Julia and Josh.

Karen Thomasy

Karen joined the FPC-Clifton staff in January of 2012, but had been singing as a guest with the choir for several years prior to that. Serving Christ in music has been a focal point of Karen’s entire life. After graduating from Texas Lutheran College with a degree in music education she began teaching middle school choir in the public school system in San Antonio. When her children came along Karen took some time to be a full-time mom, then eventually went back to teaching music to junior high and high school age students in East Texas. In the late 1990s she began a twelve year journey home-schooling her children and taught the BACH youth choir for 3-1/2 years while staying involved with church choirs, musicals and civic music groups. Karen sings regularly with several small ensembles and the Bosque Chorale and enjoys having the opportunity to direct again.

Steve Watson

Steve has been the church musician at FPC-Clifton since April 2011, but had a close relationship with the church for a number of years prior to that. He began formal piano studies in the fourth grade which continued through high school. During the summer of his junior year he accepted his first position as a church music director/pianist. Steve attended Baylor University, where he graduated in 1983 with degrees in German and Classical Greek. In 1988, he enrolled in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue post-graduate work in the field of church music. His most recent position before coming to FPC-Clifton was with Burning Bush Baptist Church in Waco.

Brenda Robinson

Brenda Robinson

Brenda has been working in the office at FPC-Clifton since August 2015 and has been living in Clifton since October 2009. She lived and grew up in Woodway, Texas and went to Midway High School. Before coming to FPC-Clifton she worked in the Banking Industry for 30 years. In 1999 she moved to Tomball, Texas and married Joel Robinson April 2000. In March 2008 they moved back to Woodway, until moving to Clifton. Brenda has 3 daughters Emily, Leslie, Angela and 1 son Derek. She is most proud of her grandsons Caleb and Riley & granddaughter Skylar Lynn. Brenda enjoys taking cruises and riding ATVs with her husband.
